Small compost containers

I didn't think about that. Hmmmm, I could put them in the shed, it's kept at 45 degrees, but I wouldn't want them open because of the smell.
 
Judging from my own experience in the past if you try to compost in buckets you will end up with fruit flies all over the place.

I've never experienced much of a smell from my compost. I was shocked actually... I store my compost container at the end of my deck so I can run out at night with buckets from after dinner.

I wouldn't really worry about the smell.
