Smoothies? I might finally be willing to take an interest in them :).

What are some that you like?

And, do you use any herbs in yours?

*makes uhuh face* i've been there and done it and pretty much got over it rather quickly. i really dislike noise and loud noise in the morning is even worse.

this is not a surface level thing i can often ignore or want to ignore - but yes if i'm hungry and that is all that's available i'll eat/drink it.

a lot of other things too. i like texture. i like contrasts. i also like recognizable fiber.

i do like goopy things at times but those are specific things and not everything too often.

i also like simple.

smoothies are too much like processed foods. i like apples with skins on, i also like apple sauce, but i don't like apple butter nearly as much but eventually when you get it turned into fruit leather i will like it again as then it has some chew to it. overall though my favorite kind of apple is what i can eat raw out of hand or cut up into quarters or eighths... i don't really want juiced apple or pureed apple and that's also about the same for bananas. i want to eat chunks of or to eat the whole banana. the only time i eat bananas blended up would be in banana bread or in banana pudding and the pudding has chunks of banana in it too so that gives it some texture and interest.

in ice-creams, what kinds do i reach for first? those with nuts in them. all my favorites. i do like chocolate and vanilla and a few other plain types, but if given a choice i'll take one of the nutty ones instead. and even vanilla i like best as a tapioca pudding which is a custard with bits in it to provide some texture.

Well, I'm interested in all those herbs and spices that can go well with fruit, yogurt, etc. that I eat so often.

"Milks," too. There are various choices. I had never had oat milk until recently and soon had it again in coffee. This is even tho I have been drinking soy and almond milk for over 30 years. The other day, I had an aloe vera drink! I hadn't even imagined that there would be something like that. Not only are there all those mixed drinks a bartender can offer but there are all those flavors in the hands of the barista. But, as I have suggested, it's the herbs and spices that I'd like to have an idea about.

Smoothies haven't interested me since they appeared on the scene and I had one or two. Now, I'm wondering ...
