do you ever eat any of the flowers (before they are fully opened in bud stage). they taste kind of peppery to me. but we only have a few kinds here and i've only sampled the most common yellow type we have.

Thanks no. Im sorry cant remember none of the names my daylillies lol! My Uncle used to sell them commercially years and years ago.He was into it heavy.Had acres of different kinds. I have a couple heirlooms and this was one he crossed and made. heres another

My uncle used to raise daylillies commercially years ago and I have a couple heirloom ones here is a few

I had been referring to another seedling as best ever. But I think this one will usurp that name. This is a pale cream color in person with that lovely purple watermark and ruffle. I have been waiting for this bloom. It is just as I envisioned in my head a few years back. And so here it is.

It's just a very small plant with around 4 fans. I usually wait until I am ready to split it for sale. They are all good names. Then I check with the Hemeracallus Society to see if the name has been used before. Thanks for the creative input!
