Squash??? :(

My squash plant got hit with what I think is Powdery Mildew. I am a container gardener and so far I've only gotten 1 spaghetti squash. It's about 7 inches long, 11.5 inches around and green. While I was pruning the vine (which was dry and shrinking up) the vine broke and now I have no chance of this squash developing further. It's not going to ripen any further, right? What should i do with it? Is it at all edible? Please help, this is the first time I've tried to grow squash. THANK YOU!

Sorry about that...I would go ahead and cut it open and see how it looks. No sense in wasting it- cook it up and enjoy it. Enjoy!

You can let it sit a bit. Is it still attached to the vine? Any leaves on it? You can leave it on there a day opr two for a little more ripening and try cutting into it.
That is really disappointing. If the fruits don't really reach a certain point, it's over.
