My squash plant got hit with what I think is Powdery Mildew. I am a container gardener and so far I've only gotten 1 spaghetti squash. :( It's about 7 inches long, 11.5 inches around and green. While I was pruning the vine (which was dry and shrinking up) the vine broke and now I have no chance of this squash developing further. It's not going to ripen any further, right? What should i do with it? Is it at all edible? Please help, this is the first time I've tried to grow squash. THANK YOU! :)

Sorry about that...I would go ahead and cut it open and see how it looks. No sense in wasting it- cook it up and enjoy it. Enjoy!

You can let it sit a bit. Is it still attached to the vine? Any leaves on it? You can leave it on there a day opr two for a little more ripening and try cutting into it.
That is really disappointing. If the fruits don't really reach a certain point, it's over.

Container gardening squash is bold!
