Start of 2015 Seedling Planting!

Now if only I liked greens......ugh. :( They look yummy but taste blah! Rather chew on grass stems. lol
Going out tomorrow and buying yet another 4ft light and a bag of soil for the new seeds that just sprouted, broccoli, cauliflower and something else, cabbage maybe? I dunno.
I need spring to get here! I need to make 3-5 new beds!! =0

looking good on your indoor garden! with this winter not looking like it will go away i may have to grow mine in the house too!

too bad i'm not closer to you or i'd take that budgie. i had some as a kid and keep looking at them when i go in the pet store.

Got a big bag of veggie soil. Frozen solid into a nice rectangle! =0 Will take awhile to thaw out!

Found a nice home for the budgie! She was very nice and was even on the floor making baby sounds to him. Her coworkers also assured me that she was great with animals and took good care of them. (I was in town and stopped by her work.)

Oh, I miss my budgie! I have been trying to convince DH we need a dog, but maybe I'll just go get a budgie instead. At least I wouldn't have to walk him.
Oh, Secuono, your veggies are looking great! I hope you can keep them happy till time to put them outside. And I hope we have an early spring. Is it too late for that?

Had a leaf of red lettuce. Tastes like lettuce.
lol.
Funny because it looks like red candy, but no, just regular ol lettuce!
At least it's not the same zing as grasses have to them. Maybe I'll sneak some into my dinner tonight...

Set up a spot for the new seedlings. Seriously running out of room!!

GOT SEED PACKETS TODAY!!!!!! :weee :weee :weee :weee :ya :ya :ya :ya

<singing> Shunshine in a paaaaack-et, shunshine in a paaaaaack-et!!!! :celebrate

Also heard a robin singing out his territory yesterday, even in the snow and cold....spring will soon be here, folks! :clap

Potted up the cabbage, cauliflower & broccoli today!
Looks like 2wks before last frost, I need to start the new cucumbers and watermelon. Hopefully by then, the ground will be soft enough to get it ready for the direct seed corn!

Hardening off all these plants that are spread all over the house is going to be tough!!

Been planning how many new beds I need to make, how much wood and soil mixes to buy. Garden will double in size this year!
