Stollen Pigs

One of our friends in Cal. had 2 newly mature sows stollen by a ferral boar who destroyed the pen and ran off with the sows. Five ferrral hogs hae been seen by one of my neighbors near my ranch in Cal. How is the ferral hog population in your area as well as dammage caused by them ?

Feral hogs are such a pest here that it is legal to shoot them at night and from helicopters. Any time of year-it's open season on hogs, or as we say it in east Texas-HAWGS! They will kill and eat newborn deer, sheep and goats. They destroy pastures and tear up fences. If you hit one in a car, you will get some co$tly damage. :/

had one go through our yard a few years ago. scariest thing ever. huge tusks - looked like some prehistoric version of a pig.
