Well,

My Striped Silver Queen is doing good. Its growing just like the rest, and the bean next to it is no longer yellow. Its not as tall as some of the plants, but it is around average height compared to most of them. I took a couple pics of it, just to show you guys what's happening. It never did lost the stripes, but it looks pretty cool. I did notice though, that the stripes are more on one side of the leaf, so I dont know what is up! (Please ignore the smudge on the bottom left, someone stuck their finger on the lens! )

Well, Jordan, that stripey looking corn plant shore is purty. :rainbow-sun

When you harvest, make sure you take pictures of the regular corn in comparison to the striped corn.

This ought to be interesting. :pop

I agree, Shelly. Its a very pretty plant, it definitely stands out!

I definitely will! I doubt it will be any different, but hey, why not? ;)

Holy cow, that looks just like a dracaena!(Massangeana) No wonder the common name is 'corn plant!'

Thanks for the updated photos! :)

Tutter, I've never heard of that plant, lol. No problem.

I was lookin at it today and I noticed that the stalk has stripes too! So, of course, I took pics!

That's very interesting and puzzling at the same time. It must just be some sort of variant in the genes. Really nice though especially since it's actually producing.

I totally agree with you, Carlos, lol. Its been doing great, growing like the rest... we'll see!

honestly Jordan,
I can't beleive how fast your whole garden is growing. It wasn't that long ago that you posted pictures of the garden being prepped and irrigated and now everything is growing so big!
That corn is really interesting, I can't wait to see how it looks in the end.

:lau Natalie! I was thinkin the same thing when I was out there yesterday. I told my parents, "I've done good!" Im just shocked at the whole thing, its pretty amazing. It really seems like I was just digging it up, its pretty cool. Im anxious to see how this plant turns out as well. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

Great looking corn. Everything but my thumb is GREEN with envy.
