I put a seed tray leaning over them for now. I gave a little more water...

I doubt its root damage they were in a peat pot and went directly in the ground in that. I did loosen the bottom of the peat pot though so it was open.

I will just cross my fingers. If they come back, GREAT... I want to get a couple more kinds of basil in there. I LOVE basil in fresh salads with my tomatoes. I also like to top soups with it and cheese.

It looks like it was only sunburn.......

if it was frost or cold they would be doing much worse....


I would be carefull to harden off your basil more in the future.

Well this didn't deter the basil for long... if at all really!

This stuff has spread and gotten huge already. I'm going to dig some up and transplant it already into another pot for my porch. :rolleyes:
