tall stalk with light purple flower weed (or wildflower)

I suppose this one could charitably be called a wildflower, but it's growing with all the other weeds so...

You did a great job with the purple-flower-bush, how about this one?

The stalk is very tall and the flowers are small (should have added something for scale) perhaps an inch for the whole top of the plant where the flowers are coming out.

It's quite pretty, the stalk is thin and the purple flowers 'float' a foot or more off the ground.

We have TONS of those (when a field of them blooms, it's so pretty!) but I have no idea what they are, so I'll be watching this thread too.

We have these too, again, no idea! Reminds me of a mix of violets and snapdragons though. :D

I rather liked the diagonal leading lines in the background on mine, though it was totally unplanned and is just the cracked and peeling paint on the deck railing. ;) Another project! -Wendy
