Of all the tomatoes I planted, my Ultimate Opener hybrids (57 days) are the LAST tomato to ripen...still not ripe yet! Me thinks I did not get the right seeds in the packet they sent me. These aren't on a cluster like in the pic. And they're bigger. Probably still some kind of hybrid though. They are large, perfectly round, flawless looking tomatoes. So much for early tomatoes.
Also, I think I've got some kind of insidious disease on some of my tomato plants. Mostly the Costoluto Genovese. I've got to get some pics up so you guys can help me pinpoint it. I'm trying not to be paranoid...but it's looking a lot like Late Blight. Even the fruit are affected with black spots.

Sounds like it was just as well that I didn't get what I ordered. I tried a little hard to plan my tomatoes better this year, to cover all my tomato needs. LOL My very kind neighbor had been sharing her abundance with me until mine came on. Now I'm sharing back a few tasty heirloom slicers for her. It's a good arrangement! We swap plants/flowers all the time.
