The Cat's Outta the Bag!

philosophical question: what if meow really means me ow? if they are in constant emotional pain because they observe us humans in being such a wreck that they can't take it?

@flowerbug , I disagree. I don't think that all cats are self centered.
My cats have all decided what their jobs are and they stick to it.
They are very affectionate, and crazy cat is Super needy, always wanting to be petted.
Bed cat guards the bed and wants us to pet her tummy.
Lynx guards ME and spends a great deal of time on the head of my LR chair, as well as being the office cat that brings supplies downstairs bc "You're gonna NEED THIS!!!"
She is focused on me, not her needs.

Perhaps but they are incredibly self-centered creatures so I doubt if it reflects any thinking beyond a whisker distance from self.

i consider them incredibly centered creatures. :) i don't expect them to be human. i like that they are self contained and independent to a greater degree. i don't want or need a constant companion so more like a fellow traveller is more my level of engagement. to each their own... :)

now, who's snarkissisting? :)
