@Marie2020 How ya doin? Awww… you are so kind to animals. Have you been able to approach him at all? .Maybe try to corner Oliver with an tall gated open unfolded doggie kennel cage that swings out far enough to prevent any danger to you , or something that is tall and wide enough for oliver not to escape pushing him toward a cat carrier with a trail of tuna leading to the cat carrier set in a corner with more tuna food inside. (They can be tricky when wild . Is he a stray or feral cat? We have a lot of feral cats here .) Fishy food can distract them long enough to get him to go toward the cat carrier with yummy treats inside. If that doesn’t work ask your vet for a cat tranquilizer to put in his food to expedite the process. Is there a cat box for him to use. Usually the difference between a feral and stray cat is a stray cat will come to you where a feral cat with run away. Boy or girl?
Feral cats can be hard to corral and hazardous to your health. Be careful. :thumbsup

He decided to leave his previous owner because she took in two dogs. I found this out this week
It's been 3 years since he came here, and he's has brought cats to me, that has since been rescued

He is a boy. It's odd because Nancy chases cats away but I found them 4 ft apart during the summer. Nancy didn't chase him and he didn't run.

He was driven away as it started to freeze, thanks to workmen and a vile cat that tried to take over my back garden.
When he sprayed Olivers warm place after hours of me setting it up and my neighbour fixing a window. I was really annoyed. So I locked the 💩 in for a couple of hours and Nancy gave him a good barking at. As he ran off I hosepiped the creep.
That brat, threatened my chickens my old dog as he was about to die, and damaged Amoris eye, driving Oliver away that did it. Enough was enough no more miss kind lady.

Strangely enough, Olivers cave looked slept in that night, the straw was moved.
The next morning he was there, exhausted and starving. So I fed him and left him to sleep.

This morning I was cleaning his warm space up and he followed me as I worked. I took that opportunity too grab him. He was furious as I just hauled him inside. He sulked for a couple of hours

As i was speaking on the phone later he came and sat by me.

This rescue lady told me she can't help for a while, so to let him go. I opened my door and took him a meal to his cat cave, expecting him to run out. But he didn't, he looked at me like , you can go and sleep there if you want. So I brought his plate back and shut the door.
I'm keeping him and Nancy apart. He's in the kitchen and she now eats under my table.

Oliver refused to leave and it's his choice. Hopefully I can get him medically assessed soon.

My friend is absolutely amazed. Everyone said there's no way you'll get him in your home.

He will never be a cuddle cat but he's really grateful for his bed, or should I say Nancy's summer bed. I'll take it one day at a time.
He's going to have to learn to behave 🙄

Trust me I'm taking care. 😉
