wow....volunteers?! I heard they were so stubborn to grow, I was afraid to even try with the seeds I collected this year!?

IF is were to be a petunia, or anything for that matter.... would it continue to thrive in the house through the winter and make it to a replant in the spring in the yard? Or is it a wasted effort?

i dont really think yours is a petunia but it might be. they will stretch like that some if grown indoors. i started some a few winters ago in the house in a plastic cookie tray and had less than stellar results when i set them out...

Well this 'seedling' is now 2 months since it came to the surface!

Maybe its something really cool and exotic!? hehehehe

I will post for photos in a couple weeks and see where we are then.

Isn't chickweed smooth stems and smooth leaves? These are fuzzy.

No, chickweed is pretty fuzzy. I'm just throwing out guesses. No real telling until it gets bigger :)

Ok more pictures from today... its not really growing very fast. My hibiscus is SUPER tall now compared to it.
