The color and variety of Koi in your ponds is AMAZING ! TFS
Isn't it neat??

I can't believe most only keep one, two or a few varieties, when so many are available!

They're called living jewels, but why have all emeralds or all diamonds when you can have a huge mix?
I end up watching each one and standing there a long time. 😀

There's someone in NY working on these amazing yellow koi, Ki Shusui. She had a huge setback recently, but I hope that one day, I'll be able to add one of her koi, too!

I'd buy one of each in a heartbeat!

The tree removal people should arrive tomorrow!
Then, I'll start seriously laying out the pond & decide. Then hire someone to dig the hole!

I keep seeing interesting ideas.
Shallow, wide area for basking, people and fish.
An island.
More surface area than depth.
Arg! Idk what to do anymore! Lol

Another quote today. 4500 to fully remove or 700 to drop n leave one tree & 700 to drop limb over propane tank and drop all dead branches in it.

Waiting on yet another quote later today.

for those prices those must be some big honkin' trees!

Near power lines, over structures & propane tank, top half is dead and dead mixed in.

Hollow/rotted core. Idk how it's still standing. Less stuff in the way, but cannot just notch n drop.

WOW, thank goodness Husband/sons and friends where able to take down what remained of the tree that was hit by last summers Derecho. Only cost was rental of a JLG to reach top. Luckily it was a few hundred dollar for the day! A BIGGER tree than yours, Can not imagine what a tree service would have charged.
