Brought in all my house & deck plants.
Decided to leave all pond plants where they are, besides the Taro, which should be the only tropical plant left in my pond.

Removing the Taro today, just need to set up an area for it.

Well, nowhere else to post. So...

I've been wanting another rainbow shark for years. Used to have one over 10yrs ago.
Also had a dojo loach back then. They only had kuhli loaches, so we got 4, as all the fish have been looking sad for months at the store.
That's also why we got a new tank kit, to quarantine them & not risk my others in the 125gal.

It's only 10gal, but for juvenile fish as QT, its enough. I moved my sponge filter from my 125gal, so it should be good from the start & not need to cycle.

I'm hoping at least one loach is healthy & lives. They'll move into the big tank once QT is over.

The red & green plants are real, DH picked them. Medium to high light needs. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Won't last in this tank, but I plan on moving them, too. I'll move anubias into this tank later & I'll swap some lights in the big tank to higher output for the plants then, too.

BGK I had for 7~ years, grew to nearly 12in, before she suddenly died 2-3yrs ago. I tried to quit aquariums, big tank refused to sell.

Anyway, that's why the joy of finding another BGK. And today's update on it.

Also, I wanted a dojo loach, as I used to have one. But they only had black kuhli loaches.
Since they all looked sickly, DH got 4, plus the Rainbow shark, & the QT tank for them.

The BGK went directly into the 125gal.

All are alive, doing well, eating, breathing normally. IDK what I'll do with 4 loaches...We were expecting 2-3 to die, but...
