which one wanted to inherit your greenhouse ?
Gavin, in the 5 year odl. The oldest once said to me.. I said to him, well someone will have to take over my daylily business.. He told me , yea, us three boys. I will tell them what to do and they will do all of the work. Now, that's his personality.

My grandsons were doing the annual potato planting with me last week. The 3 year old graduated to helping also with the peas. The oldest,Aidan, is 8 and the middle guy 5. For Aidan, this is his 7th season planting potatoes with Grandma and Grandpa. If you can walk you can plant. What a wild time.

My young grands used to love pea planting as well. I would scatter the peas and they would finger-push the seed into the ground. . . beans were planted the same way.

It is so much fun when the little ones enjoy 'helping' in the garden or yard, even if getting dirty is the end game.
