I wish deer didn't like lilies so much.

I grew giant asiatic lilies for my son's wedding. I noticed a few nibbled buds early on. I recalled an old Native American bit of advice.Sent my husband out at dark to mark territory. Worked! They seem to not like daylilies . Thank God!!!!

We had moles in that bed late summer. Pushed out bulb etc.. so hope they come up this spring. If not I will order more, too.

It depends a lot on the deer herd. They leave the daylily foliage alone here, but will strip all the buds. They also eat our hydrangeas like crack addicts, but NYboy doesn't seem to have a problem with them eating his.
