First bloom on my Christmas Cactus! :celebrate This plant is very special to me. I got it years ago from my grandmother (she died in 1973) and it has survived alot. Some years it blooms from Thanksgiving until Easter. She loved plants and had a real greenthumb. Joe, you would have loved her because she was always breaking off little pieces of plants to start for herself. Sometimes she would wrap them in klennex and stick them down the front of her ample busom until she got home!

Really pretty! It looks just like mine. Unfortunately, my cactus's floweing will be spent by Christmas. :(
I keep my plant in a corner that doesn't get much room light. It gets its light from a window. We aren't in this room much in the evening. I've done this in several homes and the plants seem to bloom longer. Might work for you. :idunno

That one is really pretty, JoJo! I am afraid mine is too neglected to bloom this year. I need to transplant it and get it in a better spot...When it does bloom it is more pink, than red... Enjoy!
