Today's sun set/rise around the world

The glassy reflection on the water is what makes this one so great. I must find something to paint with this cool color scheme. You know how you can take in an object or pic and they can scan it to pick out the colors.

There is a program that takes a pic and breaks it down to a color palate quilters use to pick a color scheme for their quilts.

Ooh! Love that red! Is it a "Red sky in the morning" or a "Red sky at night"?

My Gma was from Maine and her family were lobster fishermen. She used to say "Red sun at night sailor's delight, red sun in the morning sailors take warning"

Yes, do post your sunset. Every one is unique and special and a gift. I always enjoy seeing them.

My sunset yesterday was not spectacular, but still special. A streak of red setting sun between two layers of dark grey clouds. DH and I both paused to enjoy it.
