Today's sun set/rise around the world

Did anyone notice the beautiful full moon last night while out frolicking around the summer solstice bonfire?

I saw it from my prone position on the couch. It was gorgeous rising above the tops of the pines with a skein of clouds glowing in front of it. Then I shuffled off to bed.

Still, I remember the contradictions which played out over the next several years.

The prediction is for a full moon on the Summer Solstice, 2062 .

Wow, stunning! Looks like paradise. You are really developing a keen eye for composition in your photos, Mary. Got some real frame-worthy shots there. I love the one with the bridge too. Are these taken with your phone? Most cellphones take such high resolution pics nowadays. A lot of times I can get a better shot with my S5.

Yes, so bright and big. There was a beautiful halo of clouds around it the night before, with a rainbow glare shining through. I tried to get a picture, but it didn't come out clear. The air has felt really heavy and stormy past couple of days here, but it just won't break. I think we're in for a pretty big storm tomorrow though.
