YEP! Tonight we will have a blue moon -- the second full moon in the month. The first full moon of July was on the first. The next blue moon will occur in 2018. If it doesn't get done tonight, it will be a long time waiting to do all those things you only do once in a blue moon.

I believe that this 2nd full moon of summer is known as the Green Corn Moon.

That's what I'm celebrating with dinner:

We just had to go sit outside for awhile to enjoy the moon. A breeze decided to show up, which was very nice.

I meet with some guys at 6:00 on Friday mornings to eat and solve all the world's problems. I just about ran off the road looking at the spectacular moon on the way. Just a pinch above the horizon and gigantic.

Enjoy again tonight. The full moon actually arrived at 5:40-something this morning so tonight should be just as fabulous.
