On gas powered, if chain keeps going off, 80% chance sprocket is wore or bar is. Assume Oiler working as that will stretch chains fast. If you cut a lot, buy a sharpener-that also greatly extends chain life.
I will show this to DH. Maybe he will check out the sprocket and bar. We have already talked about sharpening the chain.
I’ve got a big Husky that is too heavy for me to use. Plus extra brand new bar and chain, extra chains, grease thing for the end of the bar, and fuel. I bet I can trade off some fence building for it.
That is an excellent idea!

That is an excellent idea!
First thing I’d do is run chain so oil splatters against cardboard. No splatter, no oil. No oil, chain stretches.
