I have a ton of these beauties and I want to can them.

Can y'all post some recipes for canning and for table?

Isn't there a recipe for verde salsa that you can use those for, fresh and canned?

Hi April, I don't have a recipe with actual measurements by I can make some recomendations. I made some last year and it was a big hit so instead of finding a few from volunteer plants I grew 7 this year to make sure we have enough.

I like to smoke them a bit on a charcoal grill it gives them a great flavor. Then puree them and add green chilis, onion, and some tomato. Season with vinegar, salt and sugar to taste, and process for about 7 minutes in a water bath.

Hope this helps. :)

With 30 plants you may have to leave some in unlocked cars, door steps, unattended shopping carts...

You should have plenty to get creative with. Happy canning! Oh by the way GET MORE JARS!!!
