Dad had, at one time, 60 cows but that was a long time ago. I think he had 10 to 20 for quite a while before he got sick.

About that organic pest control: I'm sure that some of them don't have to do it but I once caught certified organic grower somewhat open about his work. When I asked him about orchard crop defense he said "I spray and spray!" Persistent pesticides are not in his arsenal. Fortunately, there are some organic one-two punches that can help keep the pests off balance.

You guys are great. I walk with a "hutch in my giddyup" these days but for the most part I'm doing OK.
