I went to use my hot tub at weekend house, and found a strange pair of underware. Was a brand I never buy, in a size way to small. I also found a beer bottle that I knew wasn't from me. Someone is using the hot tub that I don't know about. I called the sheriff, I wanted a report written in case someone gets hurt, I have a paper trail. When sheriff came I showed him the underware and asked if he wanted it for evidence. He said no you keep, I asked isn't he going to check for DNA. Sheriff needs to lighten up and get a sense of humor!!!

That would give me a serious YUCK factor. Consider if one of your 'friends' would think of this as a great joke. The fact that the underwear was left is strange.

Having someone enter my home when I was not home was a violation that made me uncomfortable at home for a long time. Being in my hot tub would feel much the same. I would probably consider setting up camera coverage of that area.

I second what Red said, time for a camera set up, one that you can watch on your smart phone, real time. That way, you could alert the Sheriffs department while the intruders are in the hot tub. Creepy. Your privacy has been violated. That would really PI$$ me off.

Put a sign on your hot tub, "Caution- bacteria culture in progress. Enter at your own risk. Irreversible skin damage likely".

But realistically, I agree with the camera idea.

I'd have thought that would be halfway to a police investigator's dream scenario.

The guy may not be caught but you know he had his pants down.

I guess because the hot tub is outside, I don't feel to upset. Most likely teenagers doing end of school pranks and dares. I am most worried about someone drinking and passing out and drowning. I agree time for trail camera.

I second, third and forth the trail cam idea. And Agree 100% with Bay that would really TICK me off
Oh, and you might want to post a No Trespassing sign

That would really creep me out, even if it is outside. I agree, get a cheep portable game cam and set it up. Once you find out who it was you can always use the camera somewhere else.
