Wow... good job on the pickles! Those are one of the first things I did before I got WAY addicted to canning. I don't have any cukes to pick yet, they're up and growing, haven't seen a flower yet though.

Which is a blessing in disguise as I'm swamped with potatoes and strawberries. Raspberries and squash will be the next to over take me.

so lucky, i agree with yo 100%! my grandfather (pap) , told me a long time ago to keep my mouth shut and my ears open. took me a few years but i have figured out what he was ment exactly. ( he was also famous for saying "watch and learn" when the question "why?" can out of my mouth).
