Can anyone tell me which vegetables prefer used coffee grounds? I know tomatoes and berry bushes were recommended. I also heard some shrubs benefit from this.
I don't want to put it around anything else in case I do damage to plants that shouldn't have it.
I looked online but couldn't find enough information on it.
Thanks for any recommendations.
I have
peppers
onions
tomatoes
cucumbers]
strawberries
onions
watermelon
various squash
corn
beans
carrots
lettuce
potatoes

Coffee grounds do add a good amount of nitrogen to the soil but also can increase the acidity of the soil. I wouldn't recommend adding more than 2 applications throughout the growing season and you should be careful if your soil pH is already towards the acidic side. If you do want to add coffee grounds and not change the acidity of the soil then maybe adding some lime in with the coffee grounds would help.

Be careful not to add too much at one time as this can cause mold to grow and fungal diseases to spread to your plants.

Other than that I wouldn't think there is any other amount of damage you could do. Like everything too much of a good thing can be just too much. ;)
