orchids gonna need some TLC if they're not the hardy kinds.

Remember when Alex mailed me an orchid that Martha S had given him? It died. He boxed it up and kept it in his car for over a week before getting to the Post Office. I had to give it a proper burial when it didn't revive....

I find orchids are easy. I just soak them for 20 min every two weeks in tepid water, and keep in a bright area next to a window (no direct sun). They rebloom on me too.

Today is our 25th wedding anniversary. Sure didn’t plan on spending it hauling boiling water to thaw out frozen water buckets for the animals. Snow coming this evening.
