Various recipes for fresh ginger tea

if you do harvest them they may have bugs in them... how i learned this was when i harvested some here from along a trail in the park. i put the rose hips in a plastic film cannister and then set it on the shelf with a bunch of others and forgot about it for a bit. sometime later i was going by and noticed there were all these bugs in it moving around as they'd hatched. good thing i didn't leave them in an open container...

... there may be a Summertime drink for you at the Asian market. Maybe you have a Caribbean market in your neighborhood. Jamaicans must appreciate that same hot pepper and ginger and sell a bottled drink for your hot time of the year.

Steve, who wishes that bottled ginger ale had more ginger flavor and that he could find the lemon verbena drink people enjoy in S America to try
