Garden Ornament
This is one of my favorite meals to serve from my garden. It's steamed broccolli, beans, carrots, and zucchini, mixed in with tomatoes, basil, thyme, onions and chives. Of course, you can use whatever you have in your garden.
I steam and then toss the vegs and cooked whole wheat pasta with about 1/2-3/4 C italian dressing (warmed in the microwave) and top with parmesean cheese. Yum Yum. Served with french bread of whatever kind of bread you like. I do not cook the tomatos, onions or herbs.
The little side salad is cucumbers and tomatoes over garden lettuce drizzed with french dressing and topped with Feta cheese.
I love serving meals from things I have grown. How satisfying is that?
