I looked for pickled green tomato recipes a couple of years ago after we picked a 5 gallon bucket of green cherry tomatoes right before a freeze. I kinda thought it was a dumb thing to do, to "save" the tomatoes from a freeze and had one of those NOW WHAT moments. They turned out good as pickled.
