Here in the last few years, when I go to a wedding shower, I buy "guy" gifts. I buy outdoor extension cords, water hoses, tool kits and stuff like that. I even "package" it in re-useable shopping bags. The guys love it.

My sister gave us a clothesbasket full of tools, cleaners and other household stuff for our wedding. Most useful gift ever! I use the interchangeable bit screwdriver set from it all the time.
