The chickens are laying. They are producing pretty brown eggs. Slowly getting larger. Some are even double yolked. 
Here they are with a store bought egg for comparison. About 5 0r 6 a day.

Yes Mary, My son wrote the dates on the eggs so he would use the oldest 1st. Smart Kid. (wonder where he got that?)

I am glad they are laying, but just for future reference: It took 2 of my silkies 11 months to start laying!! I thought they were sterile and had given up on them.
