What are these succulents?

DH brought them home today. The non-variegated one turns pinkish if left in the sun.....the little old lady said the variegated one is an "antique" because she's had it forever

Oh that poor thing. It does look like she treated like an antique!

See the curl on the leaf, that indicates an interrupted growth; could be lighting, nutrition, or moisture/humidity.

It looks very salvageable and I bet once it begins to flourish it will take on a whole new image! I cannot wait to see it in a more healthy state.

I am not too good with Houseplants, but this looks to be a Variegated Peperomia

At least this is how I feel...specifically Peperomia clusiifolia variegata

Perhaps someone else has an idea, but I bet in time you will begin to see a more beautiful plant! This one is stunted and not in the optimal condition.

It probably is just showing stress from being snipped and all that goes with being a cutting. The stems have more stiffness than an ivy yet not as stiff as a kalanchoe - in between the two. When I snipped the cuttings they seeped a white milky juice.....they have been living outside under her porch so I know they have been getting enough light yet the stems are not anything but green in color.

I am prepared to concede, but you know, I have to inject something here.

Based on 'The Devil's Backbone' and attributes, I am not convinced!

Take a look at this site! It shows several varieties of 'Devil's Backbone' and there is a distinct characteristic that seems to be missing from Crystal's plant; namely ...the Backbone!

I think you will understand when you look closer!

I agree it is not like the mature branches.

If you look at the second row from the bottom on the left, on that page, you see new growth that is strait.

Her's are just immature branches, and I think they were not getting the light they need to thrive.

It looks just like it too? ummmmm this one might cause us to bomb Florida! (of course with love)

I like the description too:

Stem color is wrong! The DBB stem is green even when the leaves change colors according to the amount of sun light they get.

I just checked some of mine, I could show you all different looks of this plant, as I have them all over the place.
I will post a picture when I can, my USB ports are crashing on this PC.
I will set up another computer, fix this one and post some pictures.
