What Did You Cook and Eat From Your Garden Today?

I couldn't believe it when my adult son, who has moved back in with us while attending university, came home with a big bunch of Kale that he bought.
When I told him that I have oodles of Kale in the garden, he was shocked that it would still be growing after the below 0 weather, and recent snow that we have had. lol
I have to admit, he did make a great kale salad, with raisins and apple..Hopefully next time he will use it from the garden..

Harvested 4 pounds of beets yesterday! We ate 6 big ones with corn and hamburgers.

Technically, the tomatoes and all of the yellow squash except 2, came from someone else's garden.
But the eggs are from my place and it's all going to get cooked up tonight.
mmmmm fried green tomato slices to snack on for a few days... mmmmmm
