With the Texas drought, I might be lucky to grow weeds.

But, I'll be planting some tomatoes, cuc's, zuc's, pole beans, patty pan, sweet onion, garlic, gourds, sunflowers and zinnias. And Basil. And MINT if it comes back... might have to find a new plant to start.
And who knows what else. :)

Pretty much anything that will grow.. and as much room I have in my garden. But I'm looking forward to getting my orchard down south planted.

Peaches
Nectarines
Cherries
Pears
Apples
Figs
Some Berries
Different Nut trees
Etc... I'm sure the list will get longer as time goes!

What types of nut trees do you plant? I have wanted to put some almonds and pecans in but am afraid of our z6 weather. I do have chestnut trees and black walnuts but we don't care for those nuts all that much. I have been throwing around putting in a root heater so my pecans and almonds will survive but have not gotten enough enthusiasm for it yet. :coolsun
