What Is In Your Plant Ghetto ?

I think it was Annette who first used the term plant ghetto here. The collection of plants waiting to be planted. My ghetto some years is pretty large. This year I have 4 apple and 1 pear trees, 4 hydrangea 3 hosta and 2 berry bushes, and its only May. What is in your ghetto waiting for planting?

In my official ghetto I only have two larch trees. But situated around on the back patio and in my little pallet hoopies I have several basket stuffer annuals, tomatoes and peppers (purchased, not my own starts this year) and a bunch of bare root perennials I potted up. Those are 18 ferns, bleeding hearts, hostas, trilliums, heuchera, two clematis and 80 liatris. I might be leaving somebody out, but I just got tired remembering that all of that has to be planted...

Humph! I prefer the term "plant nursery" to ghetto, however, since I just brought everything into shelter against tonight's weather I know everything I have.

Not counting all the seedlings started this spring and not planted because it's not time yet, I have 5 hydrangea, 2 amaryllis bulbs, 6 begonia tubers, and (as of yesterday) 5 clematis.

More plants coming via the mail, and plenty of plants still awaiting their forever homes, but planted none-the-less.

The fruit trees my DH bought me for birthday/Mother's day are on the side of the house, waiting. Ummmmm....... oh and some gladiolus bulbs.

Humph indeed, I call a spade a spade, pot ghetto here. Let's see, off the top of my head, one hosta riddled with snail holes, a rooted cutting of a miniature lilac 'Pablin' I think, both a white and pink centrantus, 3 or 4 pots of named varieties of chives, Greek oregano, keeled garlic, 2 or 3 phlox paniculata, 3 or 4 pots of things that have lost their tags and I have to wait until they bloom to identify, a couple of veronicas and about a dozen other things, the names aren't coming to me at the moment. If I get half of them in by fall I'm doing good. The good thing is I haven't added a single plant to it this year, but the year ain't over yet .
Ooops I forgot the 4 hydranges and 3 michaelmas daisies.
