I have had two large gardens for the past few years. One is about 1/4 acre and the main garden is about 1/2 acre. As some of you know I've been a little under the weather this year and I have not been working in the garden since March. Anyway my gardens are 100% weeds these days and I really want to do something about it before they all go to seed and the problem is X10 next year.

As much as I hate to even say these words I may resort to Glyfosate (Roundup) to get rid of the bazillions of weeds. If these weeds go to seed, which they already may have, I'm in big trouble.

Can any of you identify these weeds? They can grow to about 30" in one week and they come up every year around here. Especially with all the rain we have had.

I do not know the name but it is a common annual weed here. I would cut it with a mower rather than poison. It is not one i cringe at because it is easy to pull.
