Is there a way to tell what kind of rose this is? I do not know anything abut roses. This is at the edge of my property and was here when we moved here 17 years ago.

Rambling,

i'd say.

Perhaps a close up photo of the leaves and those pretty flowers would provide a useful online image search.

Okay, I will do that. I have other roses in the front that are red. I will look at the leaves and see if they look the same. I think they do. These were all here when we moved here.

I just looked up the difference between rambling roses and climbers. These would be rambling. They have lots of flowers but they only bloom once. I thought they were climbing roses and I have been reading about deadheading roses and getting repeat blooms and I thought maybe if I had been taking better care of them they would have bloomed longer, but I think that is not the case.

Build a small trellis or arbor to keep them from walking across the entire area which makes them much easier to trim and control.
Maybe contact the rose society near you and maybe they can help advise on the name of that beautiful rose .
The roses look like double blooms and a beautiful shade of deep red and super repeat.

I really like my Knockout Yellow Rose. Smells luscious and mine survived massive bindweed invasion this Spring, then bounced back. Will bloom until frost.
I have been reading about Knockout. I have not seen Knockout Yellow yet. I was looking at red. I am just now getting interested in roses.
