I've not seen this one

Our family started watching a Christmas story the year our first daughter was born in 94. And started watching its a wonderful life in 96 when our second daughter arrived. It is not Christmas season without seeing these classic movies.

Lately, we have watched
  • It's a Wonderful Life
  • Moana
  • Ratatouille
I'm not sure how the second 2 fit in as Christmas movies but they were fun. DD wanted us to see Moana. Cold and snowing, that might have been a good enough reason why.

I'm all about those quirky BBC series, especially when they put a modern twist on classic themes like Dickensian tales.
And with Stephen Fry involved, you know it's gonna be quality entertainment. His wit and charm always add an extra layer of enjoyment to any production.
I'll definitely have to check out the Christmas Special first, though. I mean, who doesn't love a good holiday-themed episode, right?
But hey, when I'm not diving into TV shows, I'm always down for a movie night. If you are looking for more recommendations, check out movies currently out.

Fitzcarraldo by quite a bit over anything produced today.

Which reminds me. If you have streaming (Amazon Prime I think, though it could be Acorn TV) there's another fun one out there. Someone did a TV movie of Tom Holt's The Portable Door, the first in the J. W. Wells and co. stories (think of Tom Holt as Terry Pratchett lite, not quite as good, but decent.)
