On Friday, Spartacus and I went to the local feed store to have him pick out his new birthday toy. Here is what he chose.

It is a Hedgehog. I wanted him to get a nice purple Octapus. But he likes Hedgehogs for some reason. He likes furry things that make nice noises when you squeeze them. The new Hedgehog makes a very loud "honking" sound when you squeeze his middle, and he has smaller "squeekers" in his feet.

About three years ago I got him a smaller Hedgehog. Here he is with both of them.

Too cute, both pups!

I can't get plush toys for my dogs. One could care less for them and the other DEMOLISHES them in 2.5 seconds, especially if they have squeakers. We have to go with rubberized toys and those big knotted ropes around here. :p

That last pic of Spartacus with his two hedgehogs and his face like a totem pole is great!

Spartacus is a very beautiful dog, and he looks very pleased with his gift. :)

And the German Shepherd is pretty too, she looks like a sweet dog.

My coonhound destroys the soft toys too, he even cracks tennis balls in half chewing them, and shreds those knotted ropes into piles of thread. He's hard on his toys.
