Maybe you could put tennis balls on the end of the pipes. Would be a nice touch, add a little color.....

You could always glue an elbow on the ends so its a blunt end.
For that matter - you could point the elbow towards the goat's nose and add pieces longer than the goat's head - to keep fat goats from eating too much!!!
