When Ladybugs Attack!

Are they lady bugs or asian beetles? Asian beetles are orange to light tan color. The old lady bug (these asian beetles are no lady (they bite and stink when killed)) is red colored and don't bite.

Thanks for posting the larval stage photo, GardeNerd. I think when some people see those, they don't know that it is a good bug in the making. :)

Yep i see those in the larval stage often, now i know not to kill it, ladybugs are beneficial!!

Soon the fireflies and cicadas will turn up soon!! :coolsun

OMG, guys, you should go to this website . I find the ladybug pupae just about EVERYWHERE in my soil, and try not to kill them, but had no idea what they were. LOL

WOw.. thanks for that site... those 'beneficial' insects listed are great. I see quite a bit of those out, and now I will not mess with them since they are doing so good for me. :D
