some of the biggest pumpkins Ive grown were accidents. Leave the whole pumpkin to rot and seed. We had pumpkins out, got frost and snow before we got them in, they rotted where they were and I guess the pumpkin is good fertilizer because the ones that grow are always bigger than the one that started it all.
