DW pointed out the swarm of pi** ants that had invaded the bottom of the south wall in the greenhouse, yesterday morning.
No problem, I'd just sprayed the concrete step coming down from the deck into the backyard. Shouldn't be an ant swarm there for awhile. In I go with the spray ... wait! What are all those other tiny critters dropping like flies?!
It must have been a nearly equal number of what we call no-see-ems were dropping off the lower few inches of the plastic film! They have been fairly bad outdoors this year.
There seems to be something in my eye right now. I sure hope DW was right that she couldn't see any tiny bug in there!
