Who's cooking for Thanksgiving? Making anything new?

I am not cooking dinner. My family is smarter than that. It would totally be a Nyboy dining experience!
BTW @Nyboy ... I like that soup!

I am going to surprise Dh though, okay more like shock! He's working late and didn't know how he would get all the pies made. SO, I got 4 pies done today! Nothing to it, once I figured out what pumpkin spice is.

My wonderful son and his wife are hosting dinner for our family, about 24 people, and they are fantastic cooks!
I hope everyone has a safe and very Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Thanks guys because your all so nice I wll share my soup recipe. Take large pot with cover, empty 6 cans of Progresso Italian wedding ball in to it. Make sure to throw cans in outside trash, cover and put in fridge. Right before dinner take out and put on stove on low heat, ask guess to stir while you make drinks. Pour heated soup in nice tureen and place on table.
RING! RING! RING! HELLO, PROGRESSO??? (better keep a couple of cans and a string so you can call if you have a problem turning on the burner)

Hahaha, this whole thread gave me a really good laugh!

Several weeks ago, when DH asked what we should do for thanksgiving, i said "i'm not cooking!" meaning i didn't want the stress of having friends over and making most everything myself, as has happened in past years (why would people think its okay to call ON T-giving day and ask what to bring?!). So, he took that to mean it would be fine to invite people over if HE did the cooking and organizing...so, i guess some people are coming over tomorrow! I haven't even asked questions about what he's making, or if anyone else is bringing anything...i'm just going to pop open my bottle of wine early and eat whatever food shows up!

Hoping everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! All your delicious sounding food has made me hungry! It is all about the tureen Nyboy! Presentation is everything! Enjoy!
