I think you warm winter gardeners are just rubbing it in to those of us who are growing nothing but frozen broccoli. :plbb
Weather here is predicted to be 35 next Tuesday... I hope not, I am in a kind of low area, so that means I could get a freeze!! I was hoping it would wait until Feb. to freeze!!

Beavis, why are your Irises blooming??? That is just too weird!! We only have them bloom in late spring and early summer here.
It is weird, but I usually have at least one Iris in bloom at some point in the year, with the majority of them blooming in May/June....

It was 39 degrees this morning here.

Our Winter weather is coming soon, down to 29-30 at night.

Thank goodness its supposed to be in the upper 60's today.

Thanks!

The pictures are priceless this time of year.

What a cute idea using a ladder to space out your green buddies (plants).

Those pictures are just so refreshing

Thanks again.

We don't need any snow here though

Is this more in keeping with winter gardens?

These were from Tuesday night here. It takes me a good 45 minutes to cover the plants in both the front and back yards when we have a freeze. Thankfully that happens only a few nights a year. And didn't happen at all that night as predictec!! It got down to 41 that night! It is such a pain to cover all the plants!!
