I have been working on a label for my Goat Milk Soap.

Here are a few examples to show you.

I like this one best

My husband likes this one better.

With so many goat pictures here on my computer, I could used lots of different photos.

Here are a couple more labels

I am just learning how to use Photo Paint. It has some neat features.

Like being able to lighten just a portion of a photo.

Here is what I mean.

This the original photo.

It was early morning and the light was very bright. the goats and I were too dark to be seen very well.

I was able to crop and lighten just my face and part of the larger goats head.

Then I adjusted the brightness, and this is the edited and cropped photo

In a few years I ought to be able to do some neat photo editing.

You are doing good with the software already, Rebbetzin!

If we get a vote: I'll vote with you on the 1st label. The 2nd looks as tho' you are the victim of a mugging! The smile is a bit inconsistent to the criminal act.

"We are taking the hat. Buzz off!"

. . . just my 2.

Steve ;)

I agree with Steve. The warm hearted humor in the first label is hard to improve on.

I like the first one and also the last one where you're hugging the kid.

I like the "painted" look on your version, V. That's a neat effect!

Rebbetzin, would it have been a copyright problem if you used the image of the little Swiss girl and her goat? It was cute too.

You know, if you use several different labels and track how many of each (same product, of course) sell, if you see a larger sale on one, that's the label you sould use.
BTW, do we all get a soap sample for Christmas? :p

Yep, moving a "boundry stone" according to Torah is not a good thing. And that is where the copyright concept comes from. Being married to a Rabbi, I don't get away with much!

It would be fun to get a Swiss type outfit for mysef, and take one of up goats up to Mt. Lemmon and do my own "Heidi" label.

But, come to think of it....

Any label I do is a "Heidi" label...
