Do you already start putting on some year-end decorations? It will be a pleasure to see and share. :)

We just bought our Christmas tree yesterday, and I finished a simple advent candle wreath.

It sits on the side table in our living room, quiet and calm.

Heck, Yeah!! Gotta get some pictures. I use lights all year round. I have a 10' x 25' enclosed (not heated) east facing front porch. DD helped me repaint it this summer, walls are white, (beadboard) ceiling and floor are now light blue. ALL lights reflect off of these and it is on a timer, with a Dawn to Dusk option, so all night light. SO EASY to do the display, SO EASY to take it down. All you need are warm clothes in the winter, NO snow, NO ice.
We try to light for Christmas right after Halloween, then I go to Valentines Day, St Patricks Day, Easter, then red, white and blue from May to September, Halloween lights after that, and repeat.

Nothing fancy. Just old things that have been used over the years. DD finds things and takes home things I do not really care for. DS puts lights up outside. Here are some pictures this year.

Finally, I have time for the Christmas tree! This piece is my favorite one.

Since last year, we decided to set up the tree in the greenhouse. The low temperature keeps the tree in good shape for a much longer time.
